Hey there! I am Aswin (pronounced as “Ashwin”). I love to play with data and tech, and I have been doing that for some time now. Hailing from a small town in Kerala (southern India), but Singapore is home now. Worked in a bunch of industries including banking, consulting, insurance, and now in telco, and places including India, Australia, and Singapore.

I love fiddling with tech. I started off by tweaking and deploying custom Android mods like these, and later moved to data (I would love to believe the natural curiosity of looking under the hood of things is what carried me from phones to data).

Although I have been fiddling with ML models and data in corporate, the thought of building something of my own end to end still remains, and hence I keep building. Tried a couple of things in the last 2 years. One is Uplyft, a semantic search app built on hybrid RAG for fashion brands in Shopify, and I am now building Lumen↗, a platform for AI visibility and agentic commerce. Both of them are still evolving.

I also love travelling and making memories through them - you can peek into it via my Unsplash↗. I love exploring speciality coffees and craft beers, and usually hang out with friends over one of these. I also write on Substack↗ and post on X↗ from time to time.
